Hebrews 2:10 “In bringing many sons to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the author of their salvation perfect through suffering.”
Relationships are key in the community of believers. God wants you to value the people in your life and in your church. When there is unity among the followers of Christ, much can be accomplished. It is not possible to be what God wants you to be without others involved.
Ecclesiastes 4:10 “If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!”
As you strive to connect with people in the church always be an encourager. Sometimes a word or card can lift the spirits of a person going through a really difficult time. In my office there is a container with cards I have received over the years. From time to time I still look through them and sense an edifying feeling from so many people. Encouraging others is a tremendous ministry and paramount to the community of a church.
My brother Steve was always the one who could ask me the difficult questions about my faith. His motivation was to be a catalyst keeping me on the proper course of spiritual growth. Finding those who can keep you accountable to the Lord and His church will insure you to stay healthy.
Ephesians 4:15 “Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.”
We are told to speak the truth in love. Make sure you understand that your comments are supposed to be helpful not hurtful. This is not a free pass to unload your every frustration and criticism on someone. Jesus was never judgmental to anyone he crossed paths with.
